Who is “me,” anyway? The all-new music and video event, “Gigi’s Gen-X Singalong,” premiered May 3rd, 2008 in NYC. A team of film and video artists of varied backgrounds and aesthetics created a visual accompaniment to the seminal album THE QUEEN IS DEAD by the Smiths. Future installments will continue to feature well-known and loved albums from the Reagan-Bush I years, to be shown to a live, participating audience. Though conceived as a love letter to the music Generation X listened to on vinyl and cassette tape, everyone is invited to come, drink, and join the group karaoke party!
