An ALL-NEW show for 2012 – SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 19!
Singalong Vol. 5: THE JACKSONS brings the VICTORY album to life! In 1984, post-Thriller, Michael and his five brothers (Jermaine, Marlon, Jackie, Randy and, of course, Tito) recorded an album, went on tour, and shot the famous Pepsi commercial in which Michael’s jheri-curl caught on fire. VICTORY allows each of the Jackson brothers to have his moment in the spotlight, with songs ranging from pop (“Torture,” “Body”) to ballads (“Be Not Always,” “One More Chance”) to rock (“State of Shock,” Michael’s unforgettable duet with Mick Jagger)!
Come join us at our new location, 116. Formerly the Gaslight Cafe, this historic space has hosted performances by such greats as Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, and Bonnie Raitt! The Singalong’s team of brilliant, disturbed artists have done their best to live up to this creative standard.
Show begins at 5pm; as always, admittance to the Singalong is FREE!
116 is located at 116 Macdougal Street (between Bleecker St. and Minetta Lane), NYC.
